What Is Soup Group?

Soup Group is a book club lead by the lovely Sister Mary Martha and Fr. Felix Min. We will be reading The Screwtape letters. We will have 4 meet ups over 3 months. For the first meet up on January 14th, please read letters 1-10. We will release a reading plan that we will all follow so we can have meaningful discussions during Soup Group.

Will I have to find my own book?

Yes. The Screwtape Letters is a popular title, so you have a good chance of finding it on Amazon, in any library, or in the used section of most bookstores. For a more cost-effective option, consider getting the e-book version.

What is the reading schedule?

Prior to starting, everyone should ready letters 1 - 10. Then letters 11-19, letters 20-28 and then letters 29 to end.

Is Food Provided?

Yes. We will have soup available each time!

What if I miss a meeting?

We encourage you to catch up on your own time and come to the next one. The goal of our Soup Group is to foster meaningful discussion and reflection, so pre-reading is highly-recommended.
